The aim of this Group is to provide an opportunity for members to meet and socialise in an informal, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, to get to know each other – and to have a good lunch. The Group will try out different restaurants and cuisines, based on members’ suggestions.

Number of Members – ca 15. There are no fixed rules on membership and attendance tends to fluctuate, but there is always a good turnout.

Meeting Dates: Usually, the first Monday of each month, though this may vary.

The next lunch meeting will be on Monday 3rd November, at The Bystander in Wootton.

• The Bystander at Wootton
  On 3rd November the Group met at The Bystander at Wootton. This Pub was new to many of us and we were very impressed with the pleasant atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food – not to mention the reasonable prices.
• The Greyhound at Besselsleigh
  On 6th October the Group made a return visit to a favourite eatery, The Greyhound at Besselsleigh.
• The Talbot Inn at Eynsham
  The Group started this season with a visit to The Talbot Inn at Eynsham. The food was delicious and plentiful, but there was still room for dessert.
• The Dog House in Frilford
  The Group had an early summer meeting at the Dog House in Frilford on 7th July.
• The Maybush, Newbridge
  The Group made a return visit to The Maybush, Newbridge, on 2nd June.  We all enjoyed our menu choices and all (well nearly all) had dessert.
