The number of members has now increased to 9. The meetings are held in a secluded corner of Botley Library, which is bright and comfortable. Since starting, the Group has read fiction and non-fiction books, crime and fact-based novels, new works and classics.

The library has multiple copies of many books, which are available to the Group, so the choice is wide. Each month members are handed a new book, chosen anonymously, which they read in preparation for the next meeting. If someone cannot get on with a book, there is no obligation to finish it.
